Archangel Gabriel’s time slot to peacefully pray outside of Planned Parenthood for the 40 Days for Life Fall Campaign is Saturday, March 25, from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM.

The Archangel Gabriel Parish Consolation Ministry invites you to consider joining them as they serve those in our parish who have passed away and their loved ones who are grieving.

The Archangel Gabriel Parish LOC work to meet the needs of members of our parish and the community, having contributed a combined 9,669 volunteer hours in 2022 through service-oriented projects.

There will be a second collection at all Sunday Masses throughout the Diocese of Pittsburgh on March 18 & 19 to benefit three important projects within the Church in the United States – the Catholic Home Missions Appeal, National Collection for Black and Indian Missions, and Catholic Campaign for Human Development.

This Sunday we celebrate the first of three Scrutinies for Airen Lowenstein. The Scrutinies are special rites of the Church for the Elect who are preparing for the Sacraments of Initiation at the Easter Vigil.

Christian Initiation of Children (CIC) is a process that prepares unbaptized children age seven and up to receive the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist).

Gather for Adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament after the 6:30 PM Mass at Holy Trinity Church on Wednesday, March 15. Confession, prayer, and special music will be provided.

On Sunday, February 26, Airen Lowenstein, with catechumens throughout the Diocese of Pittsburgh, celebrated the Rite of Election with Bishop Zubik at St. Paul's Cathedral.  

A Multimedia Contemporary Stations of the Cross, led by Deacon Tim Killmeyer, will be held on March 3 at 7:00 PM at St. Malachy Church. 

If part of your Lenten plan is to give alms, consider joining us to make a fleece tie blanket on Wednesday, March 8, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM in Weirauch Hall on the St. Malachy Campus and bring a friend or family member.

After a successful showing of Seasons 1 and 2 last year, the Archangel Gabriel Knights of Columbus Council will be showing the Third Season of “The Chosen” in Weirauch Hall on Tuesday nights, beginning March 7.

Living Rosary Sign-Ups Have Started! In our continuing battle to prayerfully support those with difficult pregnancies and change the hearts of those who support abortion, please sign up to pray one decade of the Rosary every day during Lent for a pro-life intention.

The Fish Fry returns to Archangel Gabriel Parish on Friday, February 24. Volunteers are needed to help make it a success. All who are interested are invited to a planning meeting on Tuesday, February 7 at 7:00 PM at the Cafeteria on the St. Malachy Campus. Last week’s Gospel took on the theme of Christian vigilance. “You also must be prepared, for at an hour you do not expect, the Son of Man will come.” As Christians, we must always keep in mind the real possibility that Christ’s glorious second coming could be today, tomorrow, or very soon.

On July 23, eight teens participated in Life Teen’s Summer of Service Day.
