Respect Life Committee News

On behalf of the Respect Life Committee, thank you to everyone who prayed with us, from home or in person, during  the 40 Days for Life Vigil and Life Chain.  

Duing our shift at 40 Days for Life, we prayed the Rosary and other pro-life prayers constantly, and it was peaceful for us on the street. For a Saturday afternoon, I had never seen it so busy. Someone pointed out later that the Pittsburgh Clinic may be getting more people from other states. It’s quite sobering to see so many walk in and out of Planned Parenthood carrying little bags or a blanket with them.

We had a small but impactful group show up for Life Chain at Holy Trinity Church on October 1. The road was extremely busy, with hundreds of cars driving by. Many gently beeped their horns or gave a thumbs up.  We pray we were encouraging people to stand up publicly for life and that we were a positive reflection of our pro-life church.
