All are invited to attend the Diocese of Pittsburgh Manifesting the Kingdom Awards, where two AGP parishioners will receive Papal Honors from Pope Francis and an additional seven parishioners will be honored with the Manifesting the Kingdom Award.
As you recall, the Disciple Maker Index Survey closed on March 31, 2023, and due to the great volume of information gathered, all of our parish leaders have been and continue to review the results.
The Children’s Choir enjoyed a wonderful summer camp! They made new friends, played many musical games, and learned the first songs they will sing at Mass in October.
The pastoral planning process, including the Disciple Maker Inventory that many of you completed earlier this year, is happening in parishes across the Diocese of Pittsburgh. There are three tracks for this program - Next Generation Parish, Virtual, and Self-Directed. Each parish follows their own timeline, but all will deliver a parish pastoral plan to Bishop Zubik on or before February 14, 2024.
Last year Archangel Gabriel Parish joined a nationwide effort to increase outreach and support for pregnant and parenting mothers in difficult circumstances entitled, Walking with Moms in Need.

AGP is starting a Children’s Liturgy of the Word ministry (CLW) this fall. CLW is a liturgical celebration that takes place during regular Sunday Mass.
Archangel Gabriel Parish is renting a bus to transport parishioners who would like to attend Deacon Jacob Gruber's' ordination to the priesthood at St. Paul Cathedral (108 N. Dithridge Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15213) on Saturday, June 24. The bus will depart from the Holy Trinity Church upper parking lot at 8:30 AM.
At the end of the Choices Pregnancy Walk for Life on Saturday, May 13, Keri Muir of Choices praised God that this was their most successful Walk for Life ever (their 30th) with contributions totaling $105,798!
