Christian Initiation Update

On Sunday, October 13, Fr. Jacob Gruber celebrated the Rite of Welcome for our baptized OCIA Candidates who are seeking the Full Communion of the Catholic Church. Similar to the previous week's Rite of Acceptance for our unbaptized Catechumens, this rite invites the Candidates to state their intent to join the Church before the parish community, and for the community to then commit to their prayer for and support of the Candidates. In due time, they will receive the Sacraments of Confirmation and First Holy Communion.  

Please remember our Candidates, Sheri Broadbent, Tracy Kochanowski, Jack Pockl,  
Jeffrey Reimer, and Zachary Wolf, as well as our Catechumens, Annie, Bruce, and Elana, 
in your prayers.
