On Sunday, October 6, Fr. Ken Marlovits, Fr. Jacob Gruber, and Deacon Tim Killmeyer celebrated the Rite of Acceptance for Annie Baich, Bruce Feagins, and Elana Lieberman. During this rite, the Inquirer stands before the parish community to state their desire for baptism as a Catholic Christian, and they are accepted into the Order of Catechumens.
The months of planning, cooking, building booths, organizing entertainment, and gathering volunteers paid off last weekend with another successful Archangel Gabriel Parish Nationality Festival. Thank you to co-chairs Tim Davis and Karl Foerster for their hard work organizing this event, and congratulations on the success of the new Oktoberfest Experience.

Since early June, the Robinson Farmers Market has welcomed thousands of visitors to the Holy Trinity Campus! It has hosted 25-30 vendors, food trucks, and community groups each week through the rain and relentless heat of the summer months. We are so blessed to have an opportunity to welcome the community to our campus for food, fun, and celebration.

Effective for the new liturgical year, Advent 2024, there will be a translation change from the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) to the Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA). In order to most effectively communicate how this ministry serves our parish, moving forward, we will use the name "Christian Initiation."
If you have ever attended St. Malachy’s 8:00 AM Mass, two of the faces there to greet you are Chuck and Mimi Schneider. They have been members of the parish since their marriage in 1984. Prior to that, Chuck was a member of Holy Trinity Parish, and Mimi was a member of St. Francis de Sales Parish. They have three children, Allie (Justin), Kevin (Britta), and Eric (Harley), and one grandson, Finn. In their free time, the enjoy bike riding, paddle boarding, skiing, antique cars, and visiting their out-of-town family.

The 31st Annual Choices Pregnancy Walk for Life took place on May 11, and Keri Muir of Choices praised God that this was their most successful event to date, with contributions totaling over $132,000 - exceeding last year’s total of $105,798.

Archangel Gabriel Parish will once again have a team participating at the Choices Pregnancy Services Walk for Life, which is scheduled for Saturday, May 11.
Thanks to all who attended the 2nd Annual Women’s Day Out event hosted by the AGP Ladies Of Charity. A special thank you to Fr. Carmen D’Amico for his very inspirational message. We had 54 women gather to enjoy a wonderful tea party, which included prayer, faith bingo, praise and worship music, a spiritual talk, praying of the Rosary, and shopping from various vendors.
Our talented ministry members have been busy making fleece tie blankets, lap blankets, crochet and knitted adult and baby blankets, and shawls. We have given nearly 400 of these items to our neighbors at ARA dialysis Kennedy, Heritage Valley Senior Living, AHN and UPMC Cancer Centers in Robinson and Moon Townships, Catholic Charities, Lifeline, FOR Family Foundations, Leo Meyer Manor, Pleasant Valley Men's Shelter, The Women’s Shelter of Pittsburgh, Victoria Manor Assisted Living Facility, and some of our parishioners.
